Pet food rocks the Internet

The largest category in consumer packaged goods (CPG) sold online in the USA in 2015 was pet food, according to 1010data, an American provider of big data discovery and data sharing solutions. Pet food sales totalled $760 mio, up 55 per cent from $490 mio in the previous year. Among the fastest growing brands online in the US were Wellness, Hill's Pet Nutrition, Blue Buffalo and Purina.
