Global Ornamental Fish Championship increases to 20 varieties

On 27 to 30 Sept. 2018, the CIPS show will be held in Guangzhou at the China Import & Export Fair Complex. CIPS will hold its Ornamental Fish Championship for the third year and will cover 20 varieties this year, including arowana, stingray, colour koi, koi, goldfish, flower horn, discus, plecos, red swordfish, tigerfish, cichlid, butterfly carp, betta, guppy, crystal shrimp and crayfish. Reptiles, Chinese native ornamental fish, aquascaping and marine aquariums will also be on show.

In 2017, the championship hosted some 60 000 visitors on site. Over 500 000 people in China and 100 000 people outside the country watched the events online and through social media. In addition to the existing exhibitors at the CIPS show, the CIPS championship is building up an aquatics community of hobbyists, breeders, clubs, associations, and suppliers.
