Fressnapf restructures its management – minus Alfred Glander

The Fressnapf trio (from left): Folkert Schultz, Torsten Toeller and Dr Hans-Jörg Gidlewitz.

The startling news has emerged from Krefeld that the Fressnapf Group is restructuring its management. Alfred Glander has left the company "by mutual consent", according to the statement.

Dr Hans-Jörg Gidlewitz and Folkert Schultz will assume joint responsibility for managing the company in future. The remaining management structure is unaffected by this step, as is the position of Torsten Toeller as company proprietor and chairman of the board of directors. Folkert Schultz was already part of the management team from 2012 to 2016 and has since been responsible for strategic development on the board.

Torsten Toeller acknowledged the key role played by the departing Alfred Glander in the company's success to date and thanked him for his service.
