At the most recent general meeting of Austrian specialist retailer Lagerhaus Wechselgau, managing director Hermann Klapf and chairman Josef Haas presented the 2023 annual results of the cooperative with a turnover of over 100 million euros.

Lagerhaus Wechselgau operates eleven outlets and employs around 230 people. The programme for the current year includes a redesign of selected branches and a gradual expansion of the sales areas. Investments will also be made in the petrol station network and agricultural facilities.

Furthermore, the general meeting bid farewell to chairman Josef Haas, who did not stand for re-election due to his age. After being active as a top official for 33 years, he was honoured with the Raiffeisen medal in gold. The newly formed board of directors will in future consist of Konrad Schützenhöfer (chairman), Florian Summerer (deputy chairman), Franz Feldhofer, Andreas Höllerbauer, Helmut Kielnhofer, Anna-Maria Prem, Martin Putzl, Julia Schärf, Stefan Schuster, Franz Seidl and Josef Seidl. Friedrich Prem retired from the board after 35 years and was honoured for his commitment with the Raiffeisen pin in silver.
