Tetra gains IFS certificate

Tetra, one of the brands in the Spectrum Brands stable, has been certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with the International Featured Standard (IFS). One of the aims of this internationally recognised standard, which is known for its stringent requirements, is to ensure comparability and transparency in the complete supply chain for the consumer. It includes legal food and feed safety regulations and sets uniform stipulations with regard to food and feed safety and quality, according to Spectrum Brands.
Over a period of several months Tetra has integrated and implemented the almost 300 IFS requirements into its existing processes. The focus here was on feed safety and the quality of the processes and products in particular.
